Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Hope Unlocked podcast. I'm Kristen Kurtz, your host. I pray this episode is like a holy IV of hope for your soul. Please help me. Welcome Kim Springer to the show. I am so excited to have her here today. She has actually been such a catalyst in my life for the growth that I've experienced, I think, over the last couple of years since I've connected with you. I would call her a beautiful coach and mentor, to not only myself but to many and is bringing so much breakthrough to us. I would love for you to share more about who you are, what you do and what is coming up in the near future, which I'm so excited about.

Speaker 2:

Oh, thanks so much for having me, kristen. This is such an honor. All right, and so I am Kim Springer, known as Coach Kim, and I am a certified life and business mindset coach, and I coach brilliant Christian coaches and I just simply help them make more money, have more impact in their lives, in their businesses, using two powerful things they already possess, which are thoughts and beliefs. I love it because this is how God has designed us to have absolutely everything on board that we need for this life. He says he's given us absolutely everything that pertains we need for this life. He says he's given us absolutely everything that pertains to life and godliness, and so that includes your brain, that includes your mind, because all of you spirit, soul and body are a team. And so you said what do I do? I just look at my client's brains all day, and so I love it. I feel that I have the best job ever, that I get to serve those that God is calling.

Speaker 2:

When we look at Ephesians 4, it's equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry. And so this is how God has called me to do that, how to equip those that are going out with their message, with their vision with their mission, like they need their brains looked at so that they aren't stopped, so they aren't held up. And so that's what I do all day. I know it's like what and I'm not a brain surgeon, but I am a mind surgeon. I can say I'm a mind surgeon, but what does that look like? To look at their brains all day? It's really to help them see the thoughts they're taking and if those thoughts are helpful or not and supportive in their mission. And also, too, we have instructions in second Corinthians, 10, verse five, to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. And so that wasn't just take some a little bit, but it actually says take every thought captive. And so this is what we do. We help our clients look at their thoughts that are stopping them and standing in the way.

Speaker 2:

And you said what's coming up? What's coming up is actually a podcast that will bring this work of taking thoughts captive, helping people see the thoughts that are stopping them. It's going to bring this work to a wider audience, and so the podcast is launching on October 10th. It is called Captive and Obedient. The podcast powered by 2 Corinthians, 10 and 5. And so that's what's coming up. We're so excited about it. 10, 10 abundant life. And we do have abundant life because Jesus came, he gave it. Now we get to access it, and we access it as we renew our mind and we take the thoughts captive that are standing in the way.

Speaker 1:

Amen. I could not be more excited for you, for the podcast, for the people who will be able to listen to, just the wisdom that pours out of you. This, this woman, is coming from the overflow and I think I wanted to just back it up a little bit. So, if you, you know you're doing this work now, but what did it look like for you to come into being what I would actually call a bit of a brain surgeon?

Speaker 2:

Well, I don't know how far back you want to go. It's interesting because today, with my clients, I was really encouraging them to connect the passionate parts about their past to what they're doing now. And I think sometimes, when God calls us to a new assignment, a new vision, we feel like we need just a whole new set of new skills. I have to go learn this. I got to learn sales and I got to learn marketing. I got to do this and I truly believe in the kindness and goodness of God that, yes, while you're going to have to up-level some skills, but I believe he's already positioned you and you have been through things in your past that support what he's called you to do.

Speaker 2:

Ephesians 2 and 10 tells us that we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, that he prepared in advance that we should walk in. Now he's a kind, good father, so if he's prepared these good works in advance that we should walk in, he's not going to set us up for failure. And then we get to this assignment and it's like what I don't know what to do, I don't know where to start, I don't know where to begin and I do believe that there are breadcrumbs along the way, and so, like I said, I don't know how far back you want to go. I'm not going to go that far, though, but I will share what you're up to.

Speaker 2:

I will start with 10th grade, okay Now. So for those of you that think you know I'm in college, thank you, but I'm 51. So I want to go back to 10th grade and I had an opportunity of such a blessing it was God to work at a major hospital, like after school, and it was in neurology, okay, the Department of Neurology, in the Neuromagnetory Lab. Now, if you're like, what is that, it's where they put this big old probe on people's head and they measure and analyze thoughts and brainwaves. So in 10th grade I'm actually exposed to what's going to be part of my assignment, so I'm going to just skip a lot of years there, okay. And so I did work at that hospital, just in roles, so it was after school and high school, then it was after. You know, it was college. I worked there and they just kept me on, and then I actually did work there, like for my job as a mom when I was married, and so when I left that hospital in 2000 and 2012, right, 2012, I was working for the Department of Neurosurgery. So it's a major corporation. You can go from department to department. So I've seen a few departments in my days, like marketing, management services, pr pediatric ophthalmology. I had my share of different departments in that hospital, but I had a real long time in neurology and neurosurgery. When I left, I was working for the top neurosurgeons in the country and the chairman of neurosurgery there. And when I left, I was working for, like, the top neurosurgeons in the country and the chairman of neurosurgery there at that hospital in Detroit, and so God was exposing me to exactly the environment he wanted me to be in, what he wanted me to be studying. I feel like, did I miss it? Was I supposed to go be a neuroscientist? Because I love neuroscientists, right, and I worked for them, and so that's a little bit right. So that's like that's something from your past that you can connect.

Speaker 2:

Now, fast forward. I was sharing this morning with my clients that I went for my graduate degree and it was for research. It was for media research methods. I know it may sound boring, but man, oh man, it lights me up, lights me up. So I actually discovered it was a thing the last year of my undergrad and so, like my last year of undergrad, I'm just so happy to make it. I was done. I actually was not considering going for master's. I'm like I'm done.

Speaker 2:

But I had a class in my undergrad and it was media research methods. And I got in that class and I'm like what, what is going on here? This, this exists, oh my gosh, like I could just write research papers. It was like you know, you write these papers that could be in peer-reviewed journals and stuff like that and I was like get out of here. I loved it, I excelled. That professor like probably to this day she probably still uses my papers as examples to her students. But she did, I know semesters after because she was just like this is excellent work. But talking to that press professor, I learned that research methods was a thing. It was like a career media research methods. I'm like get out. And so she told me about that track and so I did that.

Speaker 2:

I signed up for school in New York and so it was research methods and so we're talking about, you know, doing focus groups and just the whole research behind media and I didn't really put it together. It has helped me as a, as an entrepreneur and as a coach to have sort of like an analytical data and all of that and data studies. I didn't really connect that until just like this morning. I know it sounds funny like this morning and I was like wait a minute, hold on, wait, what's going on here? Oh my gosh, like this makes sense. Now I've been at this for a minute, y'all. So don't get discouraged if things don't come together real quickly. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and following by faith what God has called you to do. He opens up more and more and more right. We go from glory to glory.

Speaker 2:

And so I have a container right now, a coaching container, and it's a case study group, and literally all I'm doing all day is having my clients bring me their thoughts and I am doing 2 Corinthians 10, verse 5 on them. I am helping them take those thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ. Now, we throw that language around, but really, what does that mean? Take them captive? Well, if you take a prisoner captive, what will you do with that prisoner? You're going to interrogate them, right? You're going to find out what's your plan, what's your mission, why you're here. You're going to break them down. You're going to weaken that prisoner. And so this is what we do with our thoughts we question them, we break them down in our mind because they become strongholds that keep us from doing what God's called us to do. So that's what they do all day, right. And so it came to me with this group, and it's like a 21 day consecutively. Every day they come and they bring me their thoughts. I'm like, wait a minute, this is data.

Speaker 1:

I'm like this is research.

Speaker 2:

I'm like, oh my gosh, like I am truly building the data and the research that's going to help other people with their thoughts, and I was like, okay, god, you are the smoothest to ever do it. Like that I would have never seen coming, like having having a, a, um, a data study come out of this, and so I see where there will be categories of thoughts and how long those thoughts persist, and just doing a whole like data study with that and so right, there are things that brought me here, but I think the thing that brought me here the most is just my own personal experience in 2000,. It's about 2016, 2017. And I really went to the depths of my mind and the only way I can explain it, first off the circumstances surrounding it was that I was scaling my product-based business to seven figures and so I got to about 700K with that business. I did scale it beyond seven figures, but around 700K is when I went into what I call a deep mental pit, and so I was scaling this business and I just get a spit out. It was just like who are you to do this? I was just surrounded by people that were doing like seven figure months. I was surrounded by all of the bro marketers. I was just surrounded, like I felt like woo, what? Like I stepped into something like what am I doing here? Like I don't even know how to do this, how am I going to sustain this? And thoughts just began to spin out and I felt like I was being assassinated by them. I know it sounds weird, but I felt like I was suffocated, like they just kept coming and I literally had no reprieve from my thoughts unless I was listening to the word of God, unless I was in church.

Speaker 2:

And I share this story. I don't share it a lot, but I do share it and let people know that I had a dark mental pit that I went through and God allowed it, right, but he walked me through it. And when I came out of that pit it was like oh OK, this is what I'm helping people do, because here I am, I'm a believer now, let's say 30 something years. Holy Ghost, feel fire, baptized, prophesy, pray, lay hands. But man, those thoughts. I didn't feel like I didn't know what to do.

Speaker 2:

I know what the scriptures say, but God taught me, he put me in his curriculum, he put me in his school and he was like this is how you deal with thoughts. You separate the facts from the meaning, you separate it like this, and you do that with that. And so this is the work that I do and, like Coach Kristen said, like I'm a brain surgeon. But I think that, yes, you can study and become a mindset coach, but then there is an anointing that you receive for it and I'm grateful because the fruit is there. God has anointed me to do that and I'm thankful for that season.

Speaker 2:

I'm thankful for that mental pit that I was in, but God walked me through it. We came out, he put some tools in my hands, and that's. I'm thankful for that mental pit that I was in, but God walked me through it. We came out, he put some tools in my hands, and that's all I do. I just go around putting those tools in the hands of others so that they can just not be a victim to their thoughts, but they could actually renew their mind and they could also train their brain to do what God has called them to do.

Speaker 1:

So that's a little bit a lot of it how I got here and the anointing truly comes through. You know walking through the fire from the crushing, from. You know walking through those moments where I mean I've been there too. I mean I've been there too. There's parts of my story that I wouldn't fully understand the brevity of my mission to free others from what they're being caged in, without that experience. Would you agree?

Speaker 2:

Oh, 100%. And even though we don't want it to happen that way, we would love to just have textbook like like, just teach me what to do, god. He's like there's a better way. I was coaching a client yesterday and I was like you have to go first, because she had a client that she felt that she could have coached better. And she was like how can I become better? And I was like you've got to go first, like you've got to coach yourself no-transcript.

Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh. Well, I am one of the gals in this container. Yes, she is my brain's on full exposure mode.

Speaker 2:

For how many days are we on 14, we're day 14. Yeah, we're like two-thirds in. You're almost there finish line.

Speaker 1:

We're coming to the end now 21 days. It's not even an end, it's um, it's not an end right. It's like I am floored by some of the thoughts that are coming up and I love. Can you, are you able to share what you call the thoughts?

Speaker 2:

ants, yes, ants, a like, so like little ants that we don't like. We have those in our brain. So it's an acronym A-N-T, and it stands for automatic negative thoughts. And so what we have to understand. And so Dr Caroline Leaf I love her, she's a believer and a neuroscientist but she says we don't go three seconds without thinking a thought, and so we have to understand that we're thinking constantly. Really, that's what we're doing. We're thinking, we're thinking beings. Now, here's the thing you are not your thoughts, but you are a thinker of thoughts, and so we think about 10,000s of thoughts a day. And here's the thing a lot of them are negative.

Speaker 2:

They have a negative lean, they have a negative bias and they're just recycled. And so we have what are called default thoughts. They have a negative lean, they have a negative bias and they're just recycled. And so we have what are called default thoughts. They're just thoughts that we think without thinking right, they're just automatic, they're on autopilot, they're coming up from our subconscious and so automatic negative thoughts they're just ants and they just come up. And I teach from John, chapter seven, and what we have to see is that negative is not a morality thing. It's just that a negative thought would be the opposite of what God is thinking. Right, like God says, I've supplied your needs, and you're like over there trying to figure out how. Like, yeah, god, the math isn't mathing, guess what? That's an ant, right? And so it's just a thought that is truly an opposition for God's best and what he has spoken. And so we call them ants and we like to take those ants captive and make them obedient to what God has spoken.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and I love just even the depiction of the ant, because I'm such a visual person to be able to see it come up and then want to just stomp on it. You know if, if I can ask and I don't know if you're able to share um, are there? Have you noticed in this research in the last 14 days? Um, I think all of us are, all of us coaches, we're part of yes, yes so we're all coaches.

Speaker 1:

We all have similar bend in in what we're doing. We're helping people and, yeah, you may be in different niches, realms, all the things, but yes they're common, maybe some common thoughts that all of us are thinking that you've seen like it's like an ant family, that meandering about our, our group, yeah yeah for sure, and I don't think this is limited to even coaches, but a big one is around the how.

Speaker 2:

And so it's like how, and so I teach my clients that the first place on your journey to when God has called you, you have a vision, you have a mission, you have a word of the Lord, is to get to done like it's done okay. So we call that like getting to the already done place, because we don't want to get the idea that we're trying to make something happen that God hasn't already made happen. So back to Ephesians 2 and 10, we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works that he prepared in advance that we should walk in. And so we receive these visions and dreams from God and we have to get to the place where God you've already blessed me, as it says according to Ephesians 1 and 3. So I'm already blessed. And so, 2 Peter 1 and 3, by your divine power, you've given me everything that pertains to life and godliness. By his divine nature, he's given us everything that pertains to life and godliness, and so you know what this is done. I'm actually not working towards it, I'm coming from it being done. And so the first place we get to is done. But then when I get my clients there, they have the question well, but how Right, and so right.

Speaker 2:

And so client coaching. Today she was like I believe I have the clients, but how Right? But she has a. She's launching in a couple of weeks. Launch is coming closer.

Speaker 2:

She says the thoughts are intensifying. Right and it's, but how right? So this is how I teach about the how. You won't know how till you do it. Sometimes, when you think about that, you could actually have someone come and tell you how. They could say these are the steps you take, this is how long you do this and you will have it and you will still be there looking at that thing. But how? Why? Because, but how is just a default thought. We think we need to know the how before we can believe it's done. But you actually won't know how till you do it. When you do it, you'll be able to say this is how I did it. There are so many examples of people having like blueprints and steps to how to do this and you know people will sit down and say how did you do that? They'll tell them and guess what? They don't go, they don't do it, even though they have the how right in their possession, they don't go and do it. Why? Because it's not knowing the how, it's truly just believing it's done, and so a lot of my clients, that's a thought that keeps them.

Speaker 2:

And we deal with a lot of money, right, money thoughts come up. We were coaching a client today that, right, like, the lack of business results and lack of money means she's a failure, and so we have to unpack that, because that's a little bit of what caused me to spin out Like it was. Like I'm a failure, right, if I don't get this business to where I think it's supposed to be and to go from just a few years prior so that was like 2016. And I was homeless in 2011,. Right, I was living out in my car, so not too long ago.

Speaker 2:

That's a feat to be able to leave a place of employment, no longer work a nine to five, truly throw myself into entrepreneurship and build a business from my last $500 and take it to like I was putting so much pressure on myself. That did not need to be, but I didn't have a mindset coach back then to tell me that, okay, we need to separate your value, your worth, who you are, from your business results, and so this is the work we do. We do see a lot of where they like to put their identity with their results, and so those are some common things we see.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and I'm definitely one of them.

Speaker 2:

You got a human brain.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and it's. It's a lot of that unwinding even from the business being in business. I've been in business in one sense or the other since 2013. And probably the first five years of that were like do this, do this? Was experiencing, so I'm sure that you know a lot of these blueprints. You know frameworks are great and I love you have. You do have some blueprints that are absolutely amazing. They're straight from heaven.

Speaker 1:

But I think a lot of times, um, we can get so caught up in that how? Because maybe we've tried things before that haven't worked and we're like, okay, well, I'm a failure, you know, kind of like those, those thoughts that will come because you've tried the thing. It didn't work out. Um, but I think for me personally and I'm sure that this is for you as well like there's nothing that's gonna stop stop me, because I know, like the the why behind this is because I know that I am anointed to do this work. Same for you, right.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

So what's, what's going to stop us? And these thoughts can come, at least for me, uh, on the daily. My husband's like do you ever stop thinking? Like, is it unique that I think all day? I don't know.

Speaker 2:

We all think all day. We don't go three seconds without thinking a thought. It's just that we've trained our brain to be aware of them because it says to take every thought captive, and so, in order to do that, you have to become aware of what you're thinking. A thought is just a sentence in the brain, and so here's the thing too your words are your thoughts taking form. So even your husband saying that, right, like what came out of his mouth was a thought. So you're right, we're all thinking. We're all thinking.

Speaker 1:

Full circle moment? Yeah, so over the years. So how long have you been doing the mindset coaching?

Speaker 2:

Mindset coaching. I really got serious about it, like 2018.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so what did it look like for you to step into this as a mindset coach? Were you retrained? Were you like? Because it's so unique, I want you to share a little bit about that journey, because somebody needs to hear your story on this part of it.

Speaker 2:

Sure, yeah. And so I did share a little bit about it, right, my experience, of course, just going to the depths of my own mind and then having God lift me out of that and take me by hand and just put the mentors in my life and who he wanted me to learn, and I'll share a few of those people. But I will want to go back to another bread crumb, like 2005, 2006. And it's like God has already been planting the seeds right Long before we say yes. And so it was Brian Clemmer and the late, late Brian Clemmer. And he came and spoke at a church I was at. This is when I lived in Michigan, and you know he's a guest speaker and he's speaking. He's preaching about Proverbs 23 and 7, for, as a man thinks, so is he. Teaching about Proverbs 23 and seven? For as a man thinks, so is he. And of course, I'd already knew it and we already knew it. But it was funny. He was like who knows the Proverbs 23 and seven? Nobody raised their hand. I was like what? Nobody knows that. I'm like raising my hand like, yes, a man thinks, so is he. So of course, I've already had exposure to that, but that's what he was teaching on and it was just like food to my soul. It was like, oh, this is so good and I'm learning this in church, like get out, and so I love him. So Brian Clemmer, my introduction to him. And he was actually there because he's doing seminars or something like that, and so that was Sunday and I signed up for what he was doing. I wanted to learn more. I bought his books, I studied them, and so he is where I learned fact versus meaning. So fact versus meaning is a tool I teach my clients and it just changed my life. Now this is back in 2005. I think once it's 2005. So I had that all along before I got into my mental pit, and so I already literally had the tools to dig me out of that place. Got it already. I love when the word is confirmed hey, I've given you what you need, just ask me right. And so I had already had that tool.

Speaker 2:

I got exposed to coaching through Lori Beth Jones, and so maybe that's like 10 years before. Maybe Brian Clemmer, through her books. She has like Jesus CEO, jesus the Life Coach. The Path is the book that I was exposed to coaching, where I actually said yes to coaching. So it was like a decade or two before I even became a coach.

Speaker 2:

I read her book called the path creating your mission and vision statement for life and I was like what I want to do this in life? So this is why I was working at the hospital. I was like I even know what it was. I said I'm going to be a vision coach. And so, like I even know what it was, I said I'm going to be a vision coach. And so I devoured all her stuff.

Speaker 2:

I would take my boys they were younger, we were like groupies. We would travel when she was near in other states and we would get in our car and I would go hear her wherever she was. And then I found out about a coaching training she had, which is in Arizona. I flew out there, got trained by her training she had, which is in Arizona. I flew out there, got trained by her, and so this was literally like a couple of decades maybe I know it was over 10 years, 10, 15 years before I actually started coaching and so that I was already exposed to coaching itself, the profession of it, and I was exposed to the mindset part through the word of God, through Brian Clemmer and I devoured all his stuff, the late Brian Clemmer.

Speaker 2:

And then when I decided that I was done with working, it was 2000 and the end of 2012,. I had my daughter and I was like, yeah, I'm ready to do the coaching thing. Right, I said I'm ready to do the coaching thing and I was like not going back to work and I was like I'm going to be a vision coach and God was like, yeah, not yet. And so I set out that first year I didn't know what I was doing or what it looked like. I was trained by Brian and Lori. Now I was trained by them, I was trained by God and he's like, yeah, we ain't doing this right now.

Speaker 2:

And so some way, somehow the Lord led me to product-based business. So first it was actually network marketing, then it was product-based business, and so that's how I got into that. That's where he helped me build my business acumen. So I wasn't studying the mindset stuff anymore, but I knew about it. But I was doing all of the business stuff, really learning it like woof, right, and that's how I took that business where I did. And then, as I shared my story already, that's when I spent out. And then, right at that moment he was like now I was like, oh, but the business stuff, it just got good Guys, I kid you not, I was disobedient. He literally had to pry the business from my hand. I did not want to let it go.

Speaker 2:

I was actually working with them, we were selling it and I had like an offer for six figures and because I dragged my feet saying yes to God, that offer was, it was taken. They took it back and I know it was because I didn't go and do the coaching. When he said I literally see. This is why I'm like I needed a mindset coach, because I had so many thoughts standing in the way of me saying yes to coaching. Because here's the thing and I know you say like you know how to get started I didn't see it. I had no frame. All I saw was no right from the body. It was like don't be talking about feelings, faith over feelings. And I'm like, oh, but they're important, they're connected to your thoughts, and right. And so I actually didn't have a representation of what it looked like and I just felt like, wow, this is different. And then I got introduced to Dr Caroline Leaf and so that gave me fuel.

Speaker 2:

Dr Gary Smalley I got his book Change your Heart, change your Life, heart, change your life. And then this is not saying that there aren't more people out there doing it, but you know how it is If someone isn't truly on the main stream, you're not going to like, know or discover it. So these people are on the mainstream and it's like, oh okay, all right, I want to keep my eyes on them, I'm going to focus on them, right, because what I'm hearing from my beloved body isn't that supportive and that's okay. I can love them, they're in the kingdom, I can love them from a distance, but in order for me to say yes to this call, I'm going to have to immerse myself in the people who are speaking my language and talking about how God is the author of scripture and science and how there's no separation. So I had to just really throw myself into studying them.

Speaker 2:

I got certified for coaching and so I did have that little bit of training from Lori Beth Jones at her thing in Arizona, but I got certified in actually 2021. So I had already been coaching, trained by God and the mentors that he put in my life through books. But then when I got the training in 2021, it was excellent, but it truly was reinforcing, like fact versus meaning, like all those things and differentiating circumstances from thoughts, and it put some tools in my hands. But God had already anointed me, he'd already been training me, and so a lot of my clients. They let a lack of certification and training hinder them, when God has been training them all along. It says in 1 John, 2, 27, that you have the anointing and you need no one to teach you anything. And that's not saying don't go get the training, but trust me. I was coaching before I got the certification. Why? Because I believed with the Holy Spirit. Whomever God sent to me, I could coach that person, I could coach them. And so what did I have? Again, I went first.

Speaker 2:

I went first and he'd already been preparing me years prior, putting tool after tool after tool in my hand, and so that's a little bit of yeah how?

Speaker 1:

I was trained. I'm so grateful for capturing this because, as you know, kim, I think I shared with you this season is called Launching Pioneers. The first season was Voices of Hope from the Valley. Wow, that there is such a combination, in essence, of those of us who've really walked through some some valleys throughout our life. Um, I just heard a lifetime guarantee. Uh, that you yes wow, that makes sense.

Speaker 1:

So just you know, seeing you, our life, our journey, and how, like, the dots connect the breadcrumbs, and how we truly have been called for such a time as this and the way that you are doing things is so different. I'm such a lover of different things, things are outside of the box, and how would you, if you were to like, encapsulate your pioneering spirit? Like? What would that like? How would you explain that to somebody? And what you're?

Speaker 2:

doing.

Speaker 1:

Is there a way for you to even explain it, cause I have a hard time?

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, that's a good question, because I really don't look at I'm doing things differently. But when I look back I'm like, oh yeah, that's a little different the way that. Yeah, you're right, the language for it. Here's the thing I don't really care what people say. Like I, I, I don't care, like I don't even have the words to say I, like I just don't care. So I think that has a little bit to do with it, that like, oh, this lights me up to do it like this, and I know that who I'm called to, like they're going to love it. So it's not like I'm in this bubble by myself and I don't care what people say. I'm going to do what I want. I'm a rebel, right, that's good if that's you. But I'm just like, okay, I really don't care what you say, because this is what God has put in my heart and I'm going to do it. But I'm also thinking, like I know the people he's called me to, that they're going to love it, right, even if I don't see it anywhere. I'm like they're going to love it.

Speaker 2:

Now I do believe that, going through that season where I was just dragging my feet because it was like, ah, I'm going to be out here and I don't know that. It taught me that he was like you're going to have to listen to my voice and what I show you. And so there's also a season I went through where I would get download after download, idea after idea, and I'd be so excited and it would live in the notebook. It would never see the light of day. And once he just really woke me up, like that's not for your notebook, the river has to flow out of you. And I was like, oh right. And so I didn't notice that there was a thought that just kept me from just putting all those ideas out. So now, when you guys see me put stuff out, it's because, oh yeah, I learned and I don't wanna cut that river off.

Speaker 2:

And so if I get something, I'm like oh, let me see it, is it done? Oh, it fires me up, I love it, my people are gonna love this. I literally tell myself that it could be something new and no one's ever seen before. But I'm like I love it and my people are going to love it. I already go ahead and declare that because I want that to be established. I don't want to be like well, I hope they like it. I'm like they're going to love this, like, oh man, they're going to be like this is the next thing since sliced bread, right, and so, like, definitely trying to find the language for it is is, yeah, but that's how I do with just pioneering things is like I've learned that man God gives you an idea, he gives you a vision. Like to cherish that, to really just honor that, to cherish that to really just honor that.

Speaker 1:

And so, yeah, it's so good I mean, there's so many, just so many emails, even that you put out that your writing is so prolific. And I've even shared with you.

Speaker 2:

You gotta write a book girl, I know it's coming, Just like the podcast. I've've been on the podcast for two years.

Speaker 1:

This, this spirit of mine the books coming to, yeah, so what? So with the podcast, you know for now, right this timing, what? What do you sense is? Why do people need to hear this right now?

Speaker 2:

Well, we do know that he's coming. He's coming back, like he said, and we truly need to be equipped, we need to be prepared. And the enemy, he has no power. His power is deception, it's distraction. And so we know the realm that he operates in is thoughts and accusations.

Speaker 2:

And so if you truly don't know how to wield the word of god, renew your mind to the word of god, how to take thoughts captive, it's going to be easy to be deceived. It's going to be easy to be deceived. It's got to be so easy to be deceived. And so this is a vital, a vital tool for the body of Christ that they're able to know how to renew their mind to the word of God, they're able to decipher the sources of thoughts Okay, I teach this their thought sources.

Speaker 2:

The enemy is a source, right, he's a source of thoughts. You got to know is this your thoughts? Is God thoughts? The enemy's thoughts? And just know this that he used to be an angel of light, so he masquerades as an angel of light. He used to be one, and so, like I teach my clients, he doesn't have a t-shirt on saying I'm about to deceive you. I'm the deceptor, watch out for me. No, I'm the deceptor. Watch out for me. No, deception is deception. You don't know what's happening, and so if we don't know how to recognize the thoughts that he brings and how to cast them down, and how to take them captive and make them obedient to Christ, that deception will have a place, and then we will be not able to effectively reinforce the victory that is already ours in Christ.

Speaker 1:

Well, I truly believe, from what I know and the people I talk to and just a sense I'm getting you know, part of why I did come into your container to wake up as a person was because I literally that same week was hearing like wake up, sound the alarm for me personally. But there's parts of me that need to be awoken and awakened to um, to really be able to.

Speaker 1:

You know, I have a very strong discerning, discernment gift, but there's these parts of me in my thoughts that, um, as you know, they're not helpful. We all have it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we all have it. We all have the ants.

Speaker 1:

And I'm like, can I just get a you know new brain?

Speaker 2:

All my clients say that. No, you renew your mind and that's how you change your brain.

Speaker 1:

And it's you know don't be conformed to the patterns of this world. And you know, there are these pieces of you know, I think, in my brain, my own brain, that are unconforming right, they're unconforming to the patterns that you know I was raised in, or generational. It's like I want that cut off now.

Speaker 1:

Yes, done and done, yes, which I'm really holding on to. That's one thing that kim is helping me with. Is is from that done place and I, I'm, I'm just declaring done and done, and there's still pieces of it that you know. It's a whole long story, but we're getting there.

Speaker 2:

Yes, you're there, you're there.

Speaker 1:

Yes, true, see, you got me it's okay. Did you hear that it's?

Speaker 2:

okay, I'm always looking at the brain. I can't unsee your brain.

Speaker 1:

So good and I'm like the womb. I see what people have within them to be perfect. So I'm like a spiritual midwife and I love that you can help me and my brain to be able to go out and do the thing that I'm called to do as well. Yes, beyond me, it's so beyond me, it's so beyond you, right.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

Us living in our fullness is such a beautiful thing for you. So what is coming up for you? Do you have any? I think are you going to be doing the wake up as a person.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I'm going to do it again. So we are getting ready for another round in the end of October, getting ready for another round in the end of October. So yeah, if people are interested, we have about three, three spots. If they're still available, people can check them out.

Speaker 1:

And then if we have coaches on like, what are you doing within your own business that somebody could get involved in? If they are led to, what do you have available for them? Because the work that you're doing is just hi-yah.

Speaker 2:

Thank you. We do have two memberships for coaches to help them begin to sign clients and get fully booked and create a six-figure business. So we have the two memberships which are Coaches by Grace Accelerator and the Business by Grace Incubator, and we have the two memberships which are Coaches by Grace Accelerator and the Business by Grace Incubator and we will have an event coming up in 2024. So we're looking forward to that too and we're going to just be equipping the coaches so they can be these coaches.

Speaker 2:

One of my coaches shared today that mindset coaching is true deliverance ministry, because we see, in johnny it says you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free. And when we look at deliverance ministry they can get set free. But if their mind didn't get changed right, they could just put themselves right back in there, and so I love that she said that because it's true, because I have a lot of clients when I'm coaching them it's like they're like that felt like deliverance, that felt like deliverance. And so I believe equipping the coaches specifically in what I'm doing in mindset is what we're really going to need for end times. People are really going to need just that mindset coaching. So, yeah, we were looking at doing some type of event or challenge or something so that we can equip the coaches.

Speaker 1:

And if you're not a coach.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I would think right, Like it's a skill set. So, those that want to add this skill set to their practice or their business.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so those who are listening, who aren't coaches um. Would you recommend, like the podcast is for the body, every body in the body right. Yes for sure. Um. So I do this. As you know, I do the podcast for the one. So, as a vision coach, I always um ask my clients to get a vision of the one who is listening to this podcast right now, and is there anything else that you'd like to say to her or him, and would you be able to pray over them?

Speaker 2:

Yes, I want to say to her and this could apply to him, but to her that god sees you, he sees you and I tell my clients that he knows your latitude and longitude. When you think about this, when they would send the angels with a message, they didn't need gps, they didn't like wait a minute. You said he would be gideon, would be right here under the thing. He ain't not here, right? No, they know your latitude and longitude, yours, and so he sees you. He sees you and you have a lot of thoughts. You have a lot of thoughts, you have a lot of questions.

Speaker 2:

It's okay, beloved, but he does see you and there is the invitation to come and just come with him, right, you don't have to come and just sign up to do anything, but just come to him and he will instruct you. But you've got to know that you're taking thoughts and any thought that's raising itself up against the knowledge of God, saying that he doesn't love you, he's forgotten about you. If it was his will, this wouldn't be happening. It's not true. But he loves you and he sees you and you're just having thoughts. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the one. Thank you that you've called him to this podcast and that you see her, you know her, you hear her prayers and you love her and you've already provided. You've already supplied all of her needs in Christ. So I thank you, god, for those needs being met on today and that she's going to be able to manifest this beautiful life that you've already provided for her, in Jesus' name Amen.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, Kim.

Speaker 2:

You're welcome. Thank you for having me this was so good.

Speaker 1:

Yes, well, thank you for being a brave voice who's setting others free. And with your podcast coming, I will make sure that I have all of the information that you can contact Kim find her podcasts. Uh, the intro is already out there, the trailer. Go listen to it. You'll be blown away even by the trailer. You haven't already been blown away by what she shared today? Oh my gosh, um, she's really been such a catalyst in my life to help me, you know, level up and see from a higher place. And I'm still. You know I'm done, but I'm getting done.

Speaker 2:

I love it. Yes, get done there.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I'm getting done. I'm going to close, hope Unlocked with our anchoring verse, and it's may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace and, believing so, by the power of the Holy spirit, you may abound in hope, and that's Romans 15, 13. So thank you again, kim. I will be back with another episode next week.

Speaker 2:

Thanks for having me, Kristen.

Speaker 1:

Thanks, kim, thank you.
